Ms. Smith is licensed in Colorado and Texas, and formerly in Wyoming, which enabled forum shopping to utilize the best laws for each client. She received her J.D. (Juris Doctorate) and LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation from the University of Denver, after receiving an MBA from Oklahoma Central University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California Riverside.
